"Some 2011-2014 Volt and 2014 ELR models may have one or all of the following conditions:

• Vehicle will not charge the high voltage battery

• Current or history charging DTCs set, including DTCs P0D22, P0D26, P0D58, P0D59

• The vehicle will not shift out of Park


TIP: Before any repairs, follow the diagnostic procedures for any specific DTCs, ensure the charge cord is functioning properly, and verify that the issue is not a result of the charging infrastructure.

Inspect the Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle for micro cracking or water intrusion.

If an issue is found with the charger receptacle, a new, updated charger receptacle has been released to address the issues listed above. Replace the Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle with the correct part number for the vehicle being repaired."
