Doubts about Ampera, Volt options! In English

Regarding the charger and its "brick", many of us bought a third party charging cable such as those listed here :

In addition, they allow faster charging at 16 A, and are much less sensible to electric grid malfunctions .

Personally, I own the UM-EVSE, and never use the Opel cable.
It allows me to use extension cords if needed.

Kratus great idea, i didn't know about that chance...

That will be a better way to connect to the plug and public chargers becausr the brick will be a bad way to someone kick it...

I will study and see the other forum to understand everything about the vehicle and how it works...

Another thing, the picture show a extension someone can switch off the plug, if that happens does it have an alarm? locks the cable to don't stole that one...

On the vehicle plug the cable cannot be locked. So everybody can pull it out.

On the charging there are some that locks the plug but most not.

So if you want you can steal this cable in the most cases.

I think the UM-EVSE Cable has a little hole where a Lock can be placed so the Cabel can not be pulled out on the Vehicle side. Or, Kratus?
