So i have bought my car in march
The ad was that its a 2013 so i had tought it would be with the new navi unit... but it was the 2012
And the official map covered only western europe.
So i started my research for an update, and havn`t found one until my first compled
it turns out that the navy core its shared with saab 9-5 and some other us GM cars
But the denso navi framework its still updated and the same its found in toyota, range rover jaguar ...
So after reading a lot of russian an us forums and finding this guys research by now

I have gathered enought information to start the process.
My car was with software version 1153
and map data V20.11.02
Previous owner didn`t gave me the update dvds and i didn`t had the update key
after that i had removed my drive from the car, i was expecting to be a 2,5 PATA HDD but it was a 2,5 sata
It was password protected but managed to unlock it with a tool called zu.exe
After that point i was one lap ahead of the swedish coullege.
started looking for updated map from various makers and found that the volvo sensus rti its the nearest by appereance to the one he had found with the wired extensions zz0, he tought that its some kind of archive but i guessed its just a simple split file, I had downloaded Sensus_Update_RTI_Europe.exe from volvo`s site after download had renamed them to .001 and tried to merge them
checked the crc and it matched the expected in hashlist.dat
copied my old update.inf file and some other older files that
after that i patched the hashlist.dat to include my directory with the updated content
tried to load the map with the Kiwi Format Explorer 2.3 (by the lexus club russia) everything seemed ok
decided to leave my old voice data.
copyed all the modified content to the hard drive
installed all back
and now its with v30.18.03
the only glitch is that when i am on the coverage page it is not showing corect the map picture and explication
and when its navigating just says the km to the next manouver (maybe its normal) when i approach the intersection everything its fine it shows the lane information and in witch exactly to enter
i am planing on buying a dvd just for the update code because the process i believe could be achieved via usb also.
I would be happy if some you could share a screenshot of the structure of dvd1 and dvd2 that are with the update so i can be sure that i havn`t missed something.
